The Department maintains an internal Cloud service for deployment of virtual machines for course work and research activities.

Instructors requiring specialized virtual server infrastructure for specific courses (for example, database servers, custom web services, linux/build environments) should contact itsupport@csc.uvic.ca for assitance.

Virtual machines are also available to specific research groups for hosting individual projects. Researchers should contact itsupport@csc.uvic.ca for assistance.

Additionally, several research groups maintain dedicated compute clusters that are available to students and faculty involved in these research areas.
